Entry 2 or above in English and Digital skills
On the course we will look at the importance of a job specific personal profiling, tailoring your CV per vacancy and we will also consider the role of AI and how this can support you.
This course aims to support learners to develop a high-quality, job-specific CV that effectively showcases their skills, experience and personal profile. Learners will gain an understanding of how to tailor their CV for different vacancies, improve their personal branding, and explore how AI tools can be used to enhance applications. By the end of the session, learners will feel more confident in producing targeted CVs to improve their chances of securing interviews and employment.
The course is 2 hours long but is part of a suite of 5 courses to help in your return to the job market.
Note pad, pen. For the practical exercises to be most useful you will need to bring your CV and an example of a job role you are interested in.
You will be guided by our Employability team, but lively classroom discussion and activities will make this session of value. You will complete practical activities to support your applications.
This course can lead to a more successful applications and interviews. Attendance on the course may lead to other employability courses or courses to develop your skills such as digital, functional English or maths.
