Free Carer Training – Moving and Assisting

As part of your Caring role, do you have to: 

• Help the person you are Caring for get in and out of bed? 

• Help them to stand up from a chair and sit down? 

• Assist to get in and out of a vehicle? 

• Help with bathing and personal care? 

All Carers are welcome to this practical workshop which will demonstrate safe ways to carry out these and other daily tasks, reducing the risk of back strain, pulled muscles, and other injuries. 

The event will be held on Friday 6th March 2026 10am – 1pm, at the Brett Young Carers Hub, Old Hawne Lane, Halesowen, B63 3TB.
