This August, Aspire4u are running a Community Beekeeping Journey, a series of three beginner-friendly workshops designed to introduce people to the fascinating world of beekeeping while supporting biodiversity, wellbeing and community connection.
Working alongside an experienced local beekeeper, participants will have the opportunity to build and prepare a community hive before welcoming a honeybee colony to the garden. The sessions are suitable for complete beginners, with all equipment provided.
As well as learning practical beekeeping skills, the workshops encourage people to spend time outdoors, connect with others and experience the wellbeing benefits of nature.
