A local community initiative is calling for knitted squares to help create blankets for women recovering from childbirth injuries in Ethiopia.
You can help by knitting 6 inch / 15 cm squares using double knit yarn in bright colours using a 4mm (UK8) needle.. These squares will be joined into full blankets and sent to Hamlin Fistula hospitals, where each one offers comfort, care, and dignity to women during recovery.
